NEW 2-DAY FORMAT!
In response to evaluations of past conferences and the trend for many to depart for home on Friday evening we are trying a new 2-day format this year.
The National Association of Lutheran Interim Pastors (NALIP) Annual Conference will begin at 9:30 AM on Thursday June 21 and conclude by 3:00 PM on Friday June 22.2018 The conference follows the annual Interim Ministry Network (IMN) conference meeting throughout the week.
Currently NALIP is made up of two associations: The Interim Ministry Association of the ELCA (IMA-ELCA) and the Interim Ministry Conference of the LCMS (IMC-LCMS). The Annual Conference brings together Lutherans who work with congregations in transition - pastors, laity, judicatory representatives and other interested persons. Current members of a member association can register for the NALIP conference at a discounted rate. Association membership dues may be paid with your conference registration fee to qualify for the discount if you have not already submitted the 2018 membership fee. Members of denominations other than LCMS or ELCA are welcome to register for this conference.
Conference Registration Fees
Registration fees include all break refreshments, lunch on Thursday and conference materials.
Current members of the Interim Ministry Conference (LCMS) and the Interim Ministry Association (ELCA) can register at the discounted member rate.

Continuing Education Credit (CEU)
All registered participants who pay the additional fee of $10 may apply for continuing education credit available from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Application forms will be at the conference. Please include the $10 processing fee with your registration fees.
Annual association dues for both the Interim Ministry Conference (LCMS-IMC) and the Interim Ministry Association (IMA-ELCA) may be included with the conference registration form and fees. NALIP will forward the dues to the respective association treasurers. If you are current in your association membership you may register at the reduced member rate. If you are unsure of your member status, please contact your respective association.
Dues for 2017
- IMA-ELCA Individual dues for 2018: $60
- IIMA-ELCA Synod staff for 2018: $100
- IMC-LCMS Individual dues for 2018: $70
- IMC-LCMS District Office dues for 2018: $300
Cancellations before May 1 will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. After May 1 the cancellation fee is $100. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after May 21 or for early departure from the conference. NALIP incurs costs for the conference based on guaranteed enrollment numbers provided to the hotel more than 30 days prior to the conference.
